Description :Creo View is updated to support the newer version of the FlexNet server. Creo View 11.0 and later versions require FlexNet Server 11.19.6.0. This change is applicable for Creo View MCAD and ECAD, Creo Illustrate as well as the Creo View Adapter for Batch Print and Clash.
Switch to Microsoft Edge for Authenticating with Windchill
Description :Authenticating Creo View and Creo Illustrate with Windchill will now use a Microsoft Edge embedded browser to log in instead of an Internet Explorer browser.

Export an Active View to PDF with Watermarks and Markups
Description :You can now use the Native PDF viewer to export an active view to a PDF, maintaining semantic information in the document including its watermarks and markups.
Benefits :The exported document maintains its semantic information, so the text remains selectable and searchable.
Support For in Context Filtering for Annotation Sets and Viewables
Description :You can now filter annotation sets and viewables against each type by entering search text directly in the corresponding panel.
Increase Memory Limit for Creo View Lite and Express From 4 Gb to 16 Gb
Description :The maximum memory limit available in Creo View Creo View Lite or Creo View Express is increased from 4.0 Gb to 16.0 Gb.
Benefits :You can now load and work with larger models and data sets.

Creo View ECAD support EDMD IDX 4.0
Description :Creo View ECAD now supports visualization of IDX 4.0. In addition, Creo View ECAD Compare allows exporting IDX 4.0 that can be used in Creo View ECAD Validate for collaboration and validation. With this improvement, Creo View ECAD now supports new IDX 4.0 features like the IDX geometry type.

Support for Creo Multibody Parts in Simplified Representation
Description :The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric now supports the conversion of the simplified representation of the Creo multibody part. Previously, this was a limitation when the multibody part support was introduced.
Benefits :This enhancement enables WYSIWYG for multibody parts, and provides a solution for managing simplified geometries. You can use the improvements in the multibody sheet metal parts and their flat states in Creo 11.
Creo Composite Visualization and Review
Description :The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric converts Creo composite parts to Creo View along with their material and mass information.
Benefits :This enhancement enables enterprise visualization, validation, and review of Creo Composite parts when they are managed in Windchill. This improves with BOM Visualization in Windchill when composite parts are included in BOMs.
eDrawing as an Additional Output for Solidworks
Description :The Creo View Adapter for SolidWorks now supports the generation of eDrawing as an additional output for SolidWorks. Windchill administrator can now specify eDrawing as an option in a publish rule to control the generation of eDrawing from Windchill.
Benefits :This enables SolidWorks and Windchill users to generate an up-to-date eDrawing file at publish time for the downstream use, for example, for the supplier collaboration.
Creo Elements Direct Modeling Publishes Drawing as DWG
Description :The Creo View Adapter for Creo Elements Direct Modeling (CEDM) now supports publishing of drawing as AutoCAD DWG file.
Support for Macro-Enabled Document for Office Publishing
Description :The Creo View Adapter for Office now supports the conversion of macro-enabled office documents (docm, pptm, xlsm). By default, office publishing converts the documents to PDF without executing macros. To execute macros, the administrator must enable the macro execution for Microsoft Office, as well as configure the recipe option.
Benefits :This enables publishing of a macro-enabled document. It also supports publishing of such documents in Visualization Content Service.
Secure Communication with Windchill for Solidworks Worker
Description :The Creo View Adapter for Solidworks now supports secure communication with Windchill using WinRM service without any need of the Worker Daemon.
Benefits :This enables the SolidWorks worker to use a secure communication with Windchill. It also reduces the exposure of the open port when the worker daemon is listening to start a process.
Creo View Adapter for Illustrate Removed Requirement for Publishing License
Description :You are no longer required a special publishing license, CREOILLUS_PUBLISH with Creo View Adapter for Creo Illustrate. Now, the administrator does not need to configure a Creo Illustrate license for the server-side viewable generation for Creo Illustrate content.
Benefits :This simplifies publishing, allowing for a faster setup.
Deprecating Minimum Memory Publishing for Creo, NX, Inventor and CATIA V5
Description :The Creo View Adapters are deprecating minimum memory mode publishing due to the advancement of 64-bit operating systems and the ability to load large assemblies efficiently. This conversion has several limitations, particularly when designs have assembly overrides or features, and for this reason it is deprecated. This applies to the Creo View Adapters for Creo Parametric, NX, Inventor, and Theorem CADVertor for CATIA V5. In future releases of Creo View, the minimum memory mode conversion will be removed, and publishing will automatically revert to Component Mode Conversion.
